• New to the series, is Mount and Blade Warband and different from the first one?
• I’ve been trying to rescue a lord from Rindyar castle (I am at war with them) but it says that and I’ve tried multiple times but can never get in undetected, does anyone know what I should do? I can’t siege it as I don’t have enough troops. Thanks

New to the series, is Mount and Blade Warband and different from the first one? Lots of missing and bugged perks were fixed, and a few new bugs appeared just to keep things interesting. Here's a list of all the changes since 1.5.5: Lots of description and typo fixes Perk bug fixes: The bug for Polearm: Keep at Bay was fixed and replaced with a brand new bug Throwing: Mounted Skirmisher and Bow: Mounted Archery used to incorrectly grant accuracy bonuses for all ranged weapons and stacked with each other. This has been fixed so they only give accuracy bonuses to their respective weapon types. Strange interaction between Riding: Dauntless Steed and Athletics: Ignore Pain fixed Medicine: Siege Medic primary effect bug fixed Bow: Hunter Clan bug fixed New (correct) perk implementations: One Handed: Chink in the Armor primary effect Two Handed: Show of Strength primary effect Two Handed: Yadomejutsu renamed to Arrow Deflection and the deflection effect was implemented Leadership: Loyalty and Honor secondary effect Leadership: Presence secondary effect Roguery: Smuggler Connections primary effect Roguery: Partners in Crime secondary effect Roguery: Arms Dealer both primary and secondary effects Roguery: Dirty Fighting primary effect Roguery: Dash and Slash both primary and secondary effects Roguery: Fleet Footed primary effect Medicine: Self Medication secondary effect New bugs: Riding: Veterinary lame horse recovery was implemented, but is bugged and won't work Leadership: Fervent Attacker and Stout Defender secondary effects were implemented. Stout Defender is bugged to be twice as powerful as it should Roguery: One of the Family primary effect implemented incorrectly Medicine: Cheat Death secondary effect implemented incorrectly, resulting in increased chance of hero death. Other changes: Some knock down/ knock back perks were changed to trigger on hits above 25% of the victims max health, rather than on hits over 25 damage flat Some "+1 militia gain per day" perks were nerfed to +0.5 per day Roguery: Thieves Honor renamed to Partners in Crime As for other site changes, I've gone through and fixed a lot of my own personal typos :) I've also added more detail to the Throwing: Impale perk effects, which seems to be a point of interest.
