    With the resumption of hostilities between the Rhodoks and Sarranids, many foretold the downfall of the Republic. The lines of supply were stretched, the defenses neglected and the army scattered. The Sarrranid fist would soon break down Jelkala once more and break the long-suffering defenders of Almerra at last. It would be reduce the free Rhodok holdings to Yalen and the scarce mountainous redoubts which previously denied foes access to the southwestern town.

    The remaining Rhodok lords squabbled and argued over who history would remember as the Last King of the Rhodoks. After a contentious election, Nethor was restored to the monarchy. Many doubted that his reign would outlast his previous one.

    Nethor was a changed man from his months of imprisonment and abuse at the hands of the Vaegirs. They say there was a fire in his eyes, determination in his chiseled features. He would never put down a weapon while there was still an enemy in the field.

    King Nethor took the field not on the expectation of victory. He did not come to win. He came to kill. Surrounded by the survivors of so many Rhodok setbacks, he marched forth from the gates of Jelkala to meet the Sarranid army in its tracks.

    Once it was said that declaring a campaign a crusade doomed it to failure. The reclamation of Jelkala was only named as such after the fact, to evade the doom. But Nethor called his campaign a crusade. He did not come to win. He came to fight. And he would not stop fighting until one side perished.

    With the will to kill set alight in the hearts of the Rhodoks, they took to the field. Hammers held high, they pushed into the fray. Shield to shield, they held the line. Forward, one step, one kill, one death at a time they marched into the mouth of death. As they screamed defiance and vengeance, the steel jaws of the Sultanate closed about the Rhodoks, only to be stopped by a row of pikes. Through the maw of hell, the Rhodoks marched until they emerged and looked upon the gates of Almerra, its ragged defenders cheering their saviors.

    Issuing forth, the united Rhodok army cut a bloody swath along the coast, passing a hundred battlefields not yet reclaimed by nature. How long ago had it been since Graveth, Kastor and the Harlot lost those very fields? Lifetimes ago it seemed, though a few years of many lost lives it was in truth.

    Then King Nethor arrived at the gates Weyyah Castle. This was the castle which Graveth set out to conquer so many years ago, starting a chain of revolution and defeat. The moment of revelation was upon the Rhodok host. Was their nation doomed to a slow death or was victory still possible after so much loss?

    After such a journey through darkness, the Rhodoks soon recognized hope within their grasp. Energized and filled with the will and power to win, the great hammer smashed down the castle. Standing victorious in the courtyard, the Rhodoks found that this was not the Last Crusade at all, but the First finally completed. A new king and a new day had come.

    In Meta Terms

    That was CC#46! Nethor's first CC since being re-crowned King of the Rhodoks was a smashing success for the Rhodoks as they crushed through the Sarranid shields to sweep them in the field and the siege. The Rhodoks have taken Ibdeles, Jamiche and Weyyah Castle. Here's the new map, showing the Rhodoks finally reconnecting Almerra castle.

    Forgive me for my ignorance and lack of patience. I was inspired to play Bannerlord by winning the creative competition that was announced a month ago. The competition was supposed to end on October 14, and the winners were to be awarded during this time.

    Howdy anyone knows what happens with Realistic mod for warband seen something on Moddb but it's like year old and something the developer is making it happen again Idk tbh it was a great mod some years ago I played just wondering if someone knows something
