I finally completed a mount and blade game Posted: 29 Feb 2020 07:08 AM PST Mount & Blade: With Fire & Sword: this dlc has the best guns based gameplay of all the mount and blade mods i have tried so far, if you like the beginning of gunpowder era i really recommend it. I conquered all the map with the cossack hetmanate faction following the Black mace quest. A few recommendations: There are few ways to make money so trading skill should be a must at the start of the game The story arks are somewhat bugged so check with a guide if you want to complete the main quest (and keep in mind that if you start a quest with a faction you cant switch afterwards) When you siege a town use the attempt to break in to the city option; when you siege a castle just blow the wall with explosives. Never ladders. Own a city and hire all the staff available and build all the upgrades so you can access cheap hand-crafted weapons and armor and thoroughbred horse (the other option is to search the cities that have that kind of craftsmen and pay enormous sums of money). This is the age of gunpowder and cavalry so you should use those kind of units (i used just cavalry).
