    Interesting way to level tactics?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2020 09:24 AM PST

The way one increased te tactics skill ingame was too dull and too dumb imo.

Imagine if you could get a small percentage of skillpoints in the tactics skill tree by doing the following actions:

-Ordering your troops around during battle.

    -Organizing ambushes .

-Winning battles and sieges with less men. Maybe with an exp multiplier for the numerical disadvantage. Obviously with a cap so that it doesnt get exploited.

-Not losing or losing very few units.

just some cool ideas maybe not for bannerlord but for the bannerlord mods

    Troop types?

    Posted: 07 Jan 2020 08:10 AM PST

So can someone give me a basic rundown of what troops are good for what category. And should I have a diverse troop set or go for one similar army?

I shouldn't have complained about Harlaus

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 03:41 PM PST

I think that King Harlaus might have gotten wind of my bitching from the other day and he's completely lost his head.first he declared war on the Vaegirs, which gave me a chance to take Reyvvadin and keep it, but plunged us into an apocalyptic war with the Vaegirs, then things got a little bit out of hand. cut to just over a month later, and the Kingdom of Swadia is now locked into all out war with every single one, of the Nords, Vaegirs, Khergits, Sarranids, and Rhodoks, with the only reprieve being the genocide of the Vaegirs and Rhodoks just to get them out of the war.

as far as properties go, I now have control over Dhirim, Reyvvadin, Tihr, and Sargoth, and am fighting desperately, deep in what used to be Vaegir territory, to hold back an angry horde of Khergits and Sarranids who at one point split the entirety of the former Vaegir kingdom up between them.

meanwhile the Nords are coming down from Wercheg, and I've just had to destroy a 600 man army in one move to keep Tihr safe, while Reyvvadin comes under siege dozens of miles away.bit awkward because I was given no time to reinforce Tihr beyond an 80 man garrison, because of nearby villages switching sides too fast to recruit from, and the intervention of the Nords completely blindsiding me. seriously, nearly the entire map is either looted or against my faction, so where do I recruit without abandoning the meat-grinder?

do have a plan for getting the Khergits back on the defensive, which is to knock out Carew (Curaw?) and the surrounding castles, then penetrate into Khergit land and hope all of their counts come after me. but I can't enact that plan with Nords on my back, and multiple cities under siege at the same time.

we've gone from a lord who only cares about himself and food, to a full-on warmonger, who seems to have accidentally set off a world war, that's seen us throw away territory to buy time while genociding other factions. I got territories though, so totally worth it, I guess.

*EDIT*, when I say about the Nords, there was a lull in the fighting after Tihr fell to my side, and I didn't trust my men to finish the job because of my use of Nordic Huscarls, so I went after the Khergits, and then the Nords jumped back in as soon as I marched away to force the Khergits out of the surrounding area.

What are some useful but unknown tips for native/pendor?

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 08:13 PM PST

    Here's some I know:

-enemy defenders point their shield at whoever is closest. You can have units to the side of the castle leaving the enemy shieldless against archers

-If enemies are collapsing against a companion on the map, you can move in to help them and fight against whoever is locked in battle, and not the surrounding.

How many enterprises should I have in Native before I become a vassal?

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 07:53 PM PST

This is my first play through. I'm currently a mercenary for the Kherghits, but I eventually want to become a vassal for the sarranids. I've heard that it's hard to make money as a vassal, and that I should have enterprises first. How many should I have before I become a vassal?

    Pendor Mid-Game Burnout?

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 09:21 PM PST

    Hey M&Bers,

Been rolling through PoP for the third or fourth time ever and it finally dawned on me that I've never actually finished the game. I absolutely love early-game Pendor. Everything and everyone wants to murder you but you're able to receive tons of XP and great gear early on, which feels really rewarding for going after stronger parties. However, I'm at the point in the game where I own several castles and villages in the first faction that offered vassalship (the Empire), and it feels like a chore to play. I was made marshall and immediately took back land that was lost in previous wars by the incredibly inept campaign AI, which was honestly fun. But the moment I realized that had changed was after the umpteenth 800v800 battle to defend the garrison-less castles where I could kill ~40 high-tier enemies before getting knocked out, prompting a long battle to carry out on screen between the AI armies. It was fun for a while, but I've realized now that not a lot of progress gets made because of all the time I have to spend watching the AI fight.

My question is: Is late-game Pendor worth it? Is it just a bunch of auto-resolve battles and managing lord happiness/fiefs? I just wanted to see how your campaigns ended up and how long it usually takes for you to save and exit for the last time. All of that being said, I love Pendor, it's easily my favorite mod for M&B. I'd just like to know if there are any of you who feel the same way about the mod, or if I should just suck it up and begin yet another campaign against the filthy Sarleons tomorrow after work.

Is there a way to make an unstoppable Character/build in a World of Ice and Fire?

    Posted: 06 Jan 2020 07:02 PM PST

I've been playing it and I'm wondering is there an Ideal build to make for a Warrior to be an absolute Killing machine in a World of Ice and Fire a build that could take on through Stats groups Plate Armored Knight alone with only some difficultly?

Because Right now even with great equipment and decent stats I can only survive a couple hits with 7 Iron flesh and 20 strength and the best Stark armor they give troops. If I get hit like 4 times I'm done if lucky right now.
