[Official] Share your insight regarding M&BII: Bannerlord Multiplayer! Posted: 14 May 2020 06:37 AM PDT Hello, warriors of Reddit! M.Arda from TaleWorlds here. We would like to take an opportunity and ask what do you guys feel about the Multiplayer part of the game. While we are getting great amounts of feedback on our forums, we also would like to hear what our Reddit community think about the current state of the multiplayer. What do you think about the multiplayer aspect of the game in general? What is the best feature do you think there is in the game? What is the worst one? What do you think about the current class system and balance overall? What are your thoughts regarding the game modes and maps? What do you think about the lobby features (matchmaking/parties etc.)? Last week we released a post on our forums, detailing our plans for the future regarding Multiplayer. You can read that here. Our Multiplayer Designer TW_AVRC and I will be looking to this thread and try to read and answer your comments and questions regarding the Multiplayer part of the game. Looking forward to it! Posted: 14 May 2020 06:31 AM PDT Since release i've played this game exaustively without mods. I've explored every scene of the map, joined pratically every faction etc etc. The game is so badass. But after 152 hours of playing legit i think it would be fun to just be able to start as one of the characters instead of my lowly peasant self. Some ppl might not have this vibe and i get it, when you conquer for yourself you feel proud. But many mods for warband have the option of starting as a Lord or King. And its honestly pretty fun. Like a midgame skipper. I know there is a mod that lets you start as the Western Emperor but imo thats a bit OP for me. What i'd like to see is a mod that lets you pick any faction and any lord in the world and lets you start as him. Assuming he is not from a minor clan. Thanks for reading. Happy harvesting! Want easy money? Ambush and pick off lords and mercenaries. Posted: 14 May 2020 04:33 AM PDT Screw trade and smithing, I have got a ridiculous amount of coin just by roaming the map and targeting the parties of lords and mercenaries I'm at war with. Sometimes a city doesn't even have enough money to pay for all the loot I get. Not to mention I get easy high level troops from converting prisoners. Then to top it all off if you ransom a good amount of lords, it can pay up to 40k+. With my army of mostly calvary I can decimate an army of 150 strong and only lose 4-5 men. Embrace your inner hunter and prey on those lords. [link] [comments] | ||

Killing or routing all the defenders shouldn't be the only way to win a siege Posted: 14 May 2020 06:44 AM PDT Recently I was besieging a town and as I lead the assault two defenders somehow glitched inside of a wall and my soldiers couldn't reach them and so my army of 400 was forced to retreat because of some two dudes. And then it hit me – why should some two defenders on the walls even matter? The town is already ours! In my opinion every town and castle should have a keep that the defenders need to hold at all costs and if the attackers capture this keep a countdown starts. If the attackers are not repelled in time, they win the siege. The remaining defenders could then leave the town as a routed party. Honestly I'm kind of surprised that such a mechanic isn't already there, the main objective of a siege after all is capturing the settlement, not slaughtering the defenders. What do you think?
