Bannerlord, what happens when you get knocked out in battle?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 07:22 AM PDT

Hated how in Warband everytime you got knocked out you just instantly retreated

I would say it was perfect in Medieval Conquest, since when you got knocked out the battle would go on and you would play as your troops

Garrison order - does it matter?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 06:15 AM PDT

Hi everyone, I have two questions:

    1) does garrison order affect unit select for defence sieges?

    2) How does it select number of archers to infantry? I'm assuming if you have all your archers at the bottom of the list it'll still pick the same amount.

    Thanks!

    Realistic armor?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 06:53 AM PDT

In most mods, swords and any old MDF arrow shot from a practice bow can penetrate your plate armor to the bone.

In 1257 and Medieval Conquest however, you have to bash people in with a mace or have really high proficiencies to use cutting weapons properly. I actually love that. It adds some challenge early game and turns you into a tank late game.

Is there a way to emulate this into a mod so that armor actually works like armor. I would kind of enjoy watching everyone hit eachother 10 times and see peasants get slaughtered for once.

If I use only the best troops how many will I need to garrison at Castles/cities?

    Posted: 08 Mar 2020 10:18 AM PDT

Just for fun I decided to only garrison top tier troops. Right now I have 100 Nord Huscarls and 50 Rhodok Sharpshooters per castle, along with 200 Nord Huscarls and 50 Rhodok Sharpshooters per city. Is this enough? Should I do less/more? I'm on my first kind of successful game on vanilla but I seek wisdom from the pros haha.
