Does this single word give anyone else anxiety?

Probably going to be my last Warband play through seeing as Bannerlord is around the corner. This 607 in-game day campaign was tough but very enjoyable.

Fire and Sword is a lot more fun than I expected it to be

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 05:35 AM PST

I've always been a big fan of Napoleonic Wars. It's my all time favorite game to be honest. I figured it'd be fun to try out Fire and Sword. I had always been hesitant to play it because I've heard bad things about it. Maybe it had problems when it released or something? I don't remember. I bought the game a long time ago when it was on sale for a few bucks. I finally decided to play it a few days ago, and I'm hooked.

Maybe because I had such low expectations, it ended up seeming more fun in comparison, but I'm still having lots of fun. I love the mercenary system. I'm trying out trading too, which I've never actually done before in a Mount and Blade game, so trying something different might also be contributing to how much fun I'm having. I still love the combat. It's exactly what I wanted. Napoleonic Wars is fun. It's just not the same as playing a campaign.

What do you guys think of a Anno Domini 1084 mod?

    Posted: 05 Mar 2020 05:08 AM PST

The 11th century was a turbulent period in Medieval Europe.

The Crusades, the Reconquista, the norman invasion of England and many more. Here's the europe map in 1084 just to have an ideia of the kingdoms and borders.

It'd be so cool to help the Spaniards and Portuguese to reconquer the iberian peninsula or proclaim the 1st crusade and establish the Latin kingdoms in the Holy Land, and even help the Byzantine Empire expand its territory.

It would be an interesting version of the Anno Domini mod. What do you guys think?
