What exactly makes kings give you fiefs (bannerlord)

    Posted: 31 Jan 2021 12:04 AM PST

Was just playing bannerlord. Another faction declared war on us while our armies were elsewhere. They made early progress but we quickly took back all their gains and the war just became a stalemate. I eventually became very annoyed that no progress was being made and so used almost all of my some 300 influence to make a 1000 strong army and attack one of their cities. After defeating both their armies, one 500 strong, and one 1000 strong, I managed to take the city and we won the war immediately after. I was not even considered for getting the town despite the fact I only own one other fief. Anyone know why this could be?

    Tournament trap

    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 11:58 PM PST

Just joined and wanted to vent. I was having a good run of tournament successes in War and, when I heard there was one going on in Shariz. Rode for two days to get there, got there at night. Castle was full of Sarranid nobility. I waited until dawn to join the tournament.

In the morning, they declared war on my faction, the Vaegirs. I was alone, in the capital, with nearly the entirety of the enemy army.

Needless to say I did not get to fight in the tournament.

...is when you press the default 'v' key, you character shouts something like 'Fur den Kaiser!', or 'Uraaa!', or 'For King and Country!' and everyone around you instantly hits their 'v' key and their characters start shouting too.

Very sense of community, much fun! :)

    recruiting lords in warband(pendor)

    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 10:19 PM PST

So in pendor for OG mount and blade you could capture and convince the lord to join you. I tried doing this in warband pendor an I am not seeing an option for this? is the only way to convince bad personality lords through private convo? I hate over 60 RtR and over 50 relations with more lords in sarleon faction.

Does anyone know of an anti-flinch/stunlock mod?

    Posted: 30 Jan 2021 11:23 PM PST

When enemies do damage past a certain threshold, they cause your character to flinch and interrupts whatever you were doing, like attacking or aiming a bow. From what I can tell, there's no cooldown between when you get 'flinched', and so it's very possible to get stunlocked especially when you're surrounded.

I understand that this is a mechanic for balance and realism; even with the best gear, fifty-plus peasants all coming down on you should still be a threat. I'm also aware of the perks that increase your flinch threshold.

However, I just want to have fun. Sometimes I wanna roleplay as Gregor Clegane or the Hound, winding up a two handed sword and expecting a whole slew of kills, only to be stunlocked.

TL;DR: Does anyone know of a mod that alters, or even gets rid of, the flinching mechanic? If not, could someone point me to the place in the game files where this mechanic (or the perks affecting it) is located so I can change it (I take full responsibility for my own actions!).

Thank you in advance, fellow Bannerlords.
