    Question About Tribute System

    Does anyone really know how tribute payment is calculated? It doesn't seem to matter how much stronger my kingdom is, how many casualties we've inflicted, or how many prisoners we have, the number for me just fluctuates between having to pay 400-600 denars per day if I want peace.

    This is especially frustrating because I specifically declared war on the Western Empire because I knew that I would easily beat them and I needed a stable source of income, but now we've been at war for probably a year in game.

    Any ideas as to how the tribute payments work?
