Guide to Forming an Alliance with other Kingdoms

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 05:13 AM PST

I was a console player, I was playing Mount and Blade on the PS4 before switching to pc. The mods is what make the game enjoyable imo. I haven't really seen any proper guides on how to form an alliance so I wanted to make one.

First of all, you need to raise your "right to rule". Secondly, have a good relationship with the King/Liege, 50 is good and at least 20 relations with his people. Lastly, you need to be in peace with that faction. In order to dispatch an emissary, you must replace your minister with a companion or your partner. Remember, the character you want to send to negotiate, should have a high persuasion, and ideally a noble companion.

Now do this following 3 steps,

    1. Express goodwill to another monarch

    - when the king responds, that he acknowledge you as "King" or "Lady of Lesbere" (any town you own). It means they recognize you as an Independent Kingdom.

    - however, if your companion say something like "omitting any title", that means you need to increase your right to rule.

    1. Ask for defensive pact (it will degrade to trade agreements, then becomes a non-aggression pact).

    - if that doesn't work, try the other way around, ask for trade agreements or non-aggression pact.

    1. The "Formed Alliance" text will show up the next time you talk to your Companion or Wife/Husband (Minister).

There is also a chance you will receive a peace treaty, trade agreement, or non-aggression pact. Once accepted, the "Form an alliance' will show up by talking to your minister. Some tips to increase the relations with the Kingdom. Help their villages by talking to the guild master. Talk to one of your staff (his name is Herfast?) that can send gifts. Some mods, like Perisno you can send gifts to any factions or your own kingdom. Another one is dispatch an emissary, and then go to "send gifts", giving away fiefs or sending horses or 6000 denars will increase your relations faster. Once you form an alliance, there will be WAR!!. If you are in war with a different Faction, your ally will automatically declare war to your enemy and vice-versa.

Few things are as satisfying as seeing/hearing your 110+ strong cavalry unit charging towards you. Few things are as terrifying in this game as seeing one of these charge at you. Klop klop motherfuckers.

Constant lag, stuttering, low fps and freezing for Bannerlord

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 08:38 AM PST

I installed the game today and it's unplayable : loading times are ok but even in the small scale battles at the start of the campaign (20v20) I experience constant lag and stuttering and when there aren't I have low fps and sometimes freezing.

I have a decent PC with a decent graphics card, I can run on high/ultra on other games with no problem but even on very low Bannerlord has these issues. I even followed the instructions of several videos, using the same settings that were shown but to no avail. I also prioritized Bannerlord on task manager.

How do i fix this? Is there any mods that can optimize the game?

    Does haringoth usually do this?

    Posted: 27 Nov 2020 02:21 AM PST

I recently got to day 370 on my character and. I haven't got involved with the war yet but I've seen haringoth switch sides like five times already. He stared a swadian then he defected to the nords then the khergits than the sarranids and now he's a Rhodok. Is this normal for him?

    What does that mean?

Do you remember when Admiral Ackbar waded through a flood of bodies as everyone desperately tore into each other with primitive knives because the siege was so long all the bullets ran out? That was my favorite Star Wars scene.

Can anyone confirm if the tactics skill tree works? bannerlordperks.com is not updated to the latest patch.

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 08:04 PM PST

They said they added more perks, but do they really work? Sitting on several skill points at the moment and was considering the tactics tree.

Anyone know a mod that enables enemy lords to join the siege, instead of just standing around like chumps ?

    Posted: 26 Nov 2020 05:08 PM PST

Seems kinda odd that sieges are such a freebie waiting to be taken, yet the lords just watch on like bad guys in a cheesy 90s action movie, waiting for their turn to be kicked in the head.

Is there a mod that enables lords to join the siege and not wait for the castle to be lost ?

Ive found it specially insulting when the enemy wins the siege and war exhaustion cap hits, forcing the factions into peace and having everyone just waltz back home.
