Gone with The Bolts - Calradic Tales (Community Event + Warband Giveaway) Posted: 27 Sep 2020 04:46 PM PDT IntroductionNearly five years ago, this community began the persistent multiplayer event that would grow into the Calradic Campaign. Through the four years it ran, the CC served as the definitive Warband event for newcomers and veterans alike. Massive 200 player battles, custom battle and siege scenes, and a thriving community helped many endure the (then) seemingly endless wait for Bannerlord. But interest and excitement for the Calradic Campaign continued after Bannerlord's early access release. The event that had brought friends together for years was finished, and nothing really existed to scratch that itch. Without custom servers, a continuation of the campaign into Bannerlord seemed a long, long time away. Until now. The Calradic Tales is an attempt to bring back massive, (roughly) coordinated events to the Mount and Blade community. This is not continuing on where the CC left off, nor is it a persistent campaign, but instead using the years of player driven story to deliver unique events that run parallel to the events of the Calradic Campaign. The first Calradic Tales event will be this Saturday, on October 3rd, 2020. Below is the summary of what the first event will be about, as well as general information on how to join. Event StorySwadia is no more, ripped apart by the leopard and bear together. Tevarin, the site of the last stand of the Swadians, is nothing but ash, the last authority of the now gone kingdom put against the wall. While Vaegirs and Rhodoks drink and celebrate the destruction of their mutual enemy together, A small band of Swadians still claw for survival. Taking up refuge in the vast forests of Swadia, Duke Ethanol, the highest ranking Swadian left standing, leads a ragtag group of bandits, retainers, and other recently unlanded nobles. Duke Ethanol was once renowned by Calradia as a whole for his honor. Now... chivalry is dead. Nothing but hate drives him, and no delusion of optimism exists. The Duke knows Swadia is dead, and nothing can save it. That won't stop him from taking revenge. The Swadian bandits have put in substantial damage against the Vaegir garrison through daring raids, assassinations, and robberies, but now they're anticipating their final battle. Word has been received that the Emperor himself has become aware of the Swadian survivors, and is personally arriving to oversee their destruction. Already has Duke Ethanol sent a small party east, towards the Khergit lands with the quest of keeping the Swadian story told. The Duke knows the forest will be his resting place if he stays, but the chance to humble the Vaegir leader is too good to pass up. In Meta TermsWelcome to the first Calradic Tales! This event will see the Bandit King of Swadia make his (almost assuredly) last stand against the might of the Vaegir Empire. The Swadians, isolated and without aid, have had to resort to... less traditional equipment. They will receive randomized weapons and armors on spawn that represent an underequipped, desperate force. The Vaegirs, high off of their conquest of Swadia, will be as ready for a fight as ever. The event will be a best of 7 battle map followed by a best of 3 siege. To join the event, just join the server! There are no sign-ups required, and while it is recommended to join voice chat for bants and vague tactics, it isn't required. Server Info
Calradic Campaign Starter Guide (Contains lore summary for greater context) Mount and Blade: Warband Key Giveaway As we recognize that there are now players in the community that have never played Warband, Bannerlord's predecessor, we will be having a key giveaway to allow some of those people to experience the charm of Warband! Simply comment below with what you would like to see added to Bannerlord's multiplayer for a chance to win! Winners will be chosen randomly and privately messaged with their key. Becoming Involved in the Calradic Campaign The Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use. Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - an unorthodox battle map, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything! If you'd like to contribute your area of expertise, be sure to join our Discord to connect with the members of our team. Many of us earned our positions by bringing something new to the Campaign. We hope you'll join us in continuing one of the top community events in Warband! Donating to the Calradic Campaign The Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for years. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthly or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord. Leave any question, complaints, observations, memes and faction based riffing in the comments below! [link] [comments]

Posted: 28 Sep 2020 06:26 AM PDT Soooo I'm a vassal to the Vaegirs. I've been given a lot of property, and I took it thinking I'd be making money. We are at war with every other friggin country and between tax inefficiencies and everything being raid and besieged, I am in ridiculous amounts of debt. I have no idea what I'm doing lol. Am I the only one disappointed by Taleworlds so far? Posted: 28 Sep 2020 06:19 AM PDT Its not Warband times anymore, theyre not an indie studio anymore, they have a large team now and a big budget. This is supposed to be EA but I havent seen anything suggested by the players change other than making bandit camps less cancer. Everybody wanted them to be a mini siege, but nope just pick your troops and fuck off. Theres been so many QOL mods on the nexus that everybody uses, why have they not been at least considered to be added to the base game? Theres no communication between the studio and players, only a community manager on the forums whos just as out of the loop as everybody else. Right now they're fixing the perks, but why even bother when they said that they'd redo the entire thing afaik? Its been 6 months and the game barely improved since release, what are the dozens of developers at Taleworlds even doing? Playing in the new ping pong room they made with the EA money? If I assign a role to a party member, do my skill "perks" apply? Posted: 28 Sep 2020 03:15 AM PDT For example, I make a scout and she has 80 over my 40 scouting. She has the perk that makes you go fast by day, i have the night one. Will both come into effect or which one? If they were 2 day ones, would they stack? Thanks for the help, this game mechanics are eluding me. [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 Sep 2020 05:19 AM PDT I don't know how to progress now really, I've got an army of 48 with good morale (idk how my army capacity even reached 48 I raided a few villages and it just went up) and I've got around 5k gold which is good for recruiting and buying food and stuff, I would be doing my campaign missions if I had more gold cause I saw on a wiki for bl2 that you need 10s of thousands to help pay your companions debts and that's all I need to do for the mission, what should I be doing next? Posted: 28 Sep 2020 04:09 AM PDT Hi, was just wondering if my laptop could run bannerlord, even on lower settings. It's a HP-BS150SA, with 8gb of ram. Intel i5-8250u 8gb ram Intel UHD graphics 620 I'm guessing probably not lol. I'm not too bothered about graphics, was wondering if it would be relatively lag free or does it not stand a chance? Thanks. [link] [comments]
How can you become a leader of existing kingdom? Like sturgia for example. Posted: 27 Sep 2020 11:17 PM PDT Hello. My character is a vassal for sturgia and i thought it would be cool to become the leader when my character gets older, is there a way you can do this? Fair gameplay way or cheats way are welcome. Posted: 27 Sep 2020 11:27 PM PDT So, I wasn't able to play Bannerlord for months, and I'm just curious what has been added, what's fixed, what's been upgraded since about May. In particular pathing in sieges, skill trees and perks of working properly, and new dope content in general. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 Sep 2020 06:05 PM PDT I just started my own kingdom and currently own two cities. I convinced one other clan to join me, and they brought a city with them. I just took a castle, and it automatically made me its new owner. There was never any vote on its new owner, I just got the campaign map popup that says "The new owner of Akiser Castle is [Player Character]." I do not want this castle, as I can barely garrison the two cities I currently own. I would prefer to give it to the other clan, but again, there was never any vote. I also can't vote to reassign the fief, as fiefs cannot be revoked from the ruling clan, even by the ruling clan, for some reason. What could be causing this? I took the castle with just my party, if a member of the other clan took it, would there be a vote? Is this caused by a certain policy? I got a bunch of the policies that increase ruling clan power.
