    10 years..

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 08:34 PM PDT

Well ladies and gents, this is it. We've waited 8 years and in less than 10 days, what we thought would never come, finally arrived. I started playing warband when I was in fifth grade. I discovered it off of some random forum I'd never heard about. I played countless hours, day after day. Im a senior in high school now and I still can't believe the impact bannerlord has had on me. I've made numerous friends through multiplayer and have spent some of my best days cooped up in my room besieging tons of castles. I was accepted to the BETA about 5 months ago, and my oh my is it beautiful. I want so much for this game to be out so we can all experience it's beauty. Anyways, I hope you all achieve what you've dreamed of. I'm gonna be looking for more people to play with. Add my discord - Zyleo#1581

    Hello There!

    Posted: 21 Mar 2020 03:44 PM PDT

Anyone more excited for the minor factions?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:14 AM PDT

Honestly. The betrayed. Embers of the fallen flame. They sound so cool. Playing as a established faction never appealed to me. I loved being the underdog and i hope we csn bring these smaller factions to power. Being a rebel also gives me a feeling of legitimacy. If i am investing in a character it always felt wrong that i just randomly rebel. So hopefully there will be some reason to start war

Do we know anything about the main quest in Bannerlord?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:43 AM PDT

It's been mentioned a few times and at least part of it is coming on the 31st, but I don't think we have much info on it.

5% tax inefficiency taking more than 50% of my income?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:32 AM PDT

    Hi,

I've been playing Floris Evolved recently and it's been bothering me for a while, but now it's becoming ridiculously high. I have 7 cities, 9 villages and 'Poor' campaign difficulty. According to the wiki ( https://mountandblade.fandom.com/wiki/Taxes ), tax inefficiency should be:

    • Poor: +3% for each Fief above 6
    • Average: +4% for each Fief above 4
    • Good: +5% for each Fief above 2

However, with a weekly income of 47,638 denars and a displayed tax inefficiency of 5% (why 5?), it takes out a hefty chunk of 24,257 denars. That's 50.9%. Screenshot: https://imgur.com/NDVK0uk

Can anyone explain to me what's going on here? I have some possible theories:

    1. I also own a lot of land (the denars must be collected manually every 2 weeks). Maybe this also counts as income, but simply doesn't show up on the weekly list?
    2. I have the tax rate set to 'very low' for all my Fiefs. Maybe the taxes are calculated based on what I would get if the rents were set to 'normal'?
    3. The tax rate shows as 5%, when it should actually be ((7 + 9) - 6) * 3% = 30%. Is the whole calculation bugged?
    4. I have several unassigned Fiefs, 6 castles and 6 villages. Maybe those are counted as Fiefs, too? But then it would be ((7 + 9 + 6 + 6) - 6) * 3% = 66% and be capped at 65%. If I assign all of those to myself, I pay 65.6%, which seems reasonable, but the tax rate on the weekly overview still shows 5% tax inefficiency.

    Nothing makes sense. Plz help.

VIKING CONQUEST: What are Britons good for?

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 09:17 AM PDT

What are Britons troops good for? If the Saxons have the best spearmen, Norse best infantry, Picts best archers, and other cultures have their own specialties, what are the Britons good at?

    Religions of Calradia

    Posted: 22 Mar 2020 08:55 AM PDT

Do you think that there will be religions of some sort in Bannerlord? I think that it would be nice to have some quests revolving around cults or helping monasteries. Possibly tradind with religious settlements or characters would give you some unique stuff. What are your opinions on the subject?
