    After four straight years of constant war, Calradia breathed a sigh of relief, a brief respite of peace after the fall of Praven. But be there any rest for the wicked?

    Plague has broken out across Calradia! Rumours abound from whence it came - across the great steppe? On a ship from Jumne, or Balion? Or perhaps simply the Gods punishing us for our sins?

    A conclave of the wisest and most holy men of Calradia met to determine its true origin - Boyar Valishin did not wash his hands after returning from the latrine. Went right back to eating. I saw it. We all saw it. Disgusting.

    At any rate, that cats out of the bag, in a big way. Harlaus has boarded himself up in his insane asylum private mansion outside Praven. The nobles of the Vaegirs have stockpiled grain in their citadels, the Jarls of the Nords hoard latrine sponges, and the Rhodoks, slightly missing the message, have stockpiled excrement en masse. Or that might just be Jelkala?

    Before isolating themselves from the world, however, the nobles of Calradia neglected to issue orders or bidets to their people. As a result, all hell as broken loose! Roving bands of Khergits panic raid villages for the last available wives in stock, Swadians attempt to close borders but remember they don't own any, and roof Vaegirs shoot warbows into crowds of peasants, fleeing for the countryside! What are they even defending? Who knows!

    In this state of anarchy and panic, local armed groups gather and strike out across the continent in search of groceries and baby powder, asses itching at every step.

    This Saturday, March 21st, we'll see some faction pair ups we never had the opportunity to do during the regular course of our events. As the standard event format has concluded for Warband, there will be no persistent land changes, no Lords or Kings in fancy armour, and only the notion of organization.

    My baby sister passed this Saturday from bone cancer. She was playing her last game of M&B before Bannerlord came out. She wasn't the best player and never played on the tougher levels but she loved the game. So when you load up for the first time pause a minute. And pray for those that didn't make it...

    The response has been unbelievable. I asked my other little sister to look at this and she simply burst into tears. The showing is Tuesday and this thread will be displayed on a video that will play continuously. Your comments have touched all of us who loved her and has had a special impact on her sons who are gamers. I can't tell you all how much this means to us... Thank you all

    Historically, March 31, 1683, Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I and King John III Sobieski of Poland sign a covenant against Turkey, beginning the Holy League. This event sparked The Battle of Vienna. The battle marked the first time the polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the Holy Roman Empire had cooperated militarily against the Ottomans, and it is often seen as a turning point in history, after which "the Ottoman Turks ceased to be a menace to the Christian world".

    The battle is noted for including the largest known cavalry charge in history.

    The March 31 , 2020 release of Bannerlord represents the Turkish-based company "Taleworlds" nod to such a grand use of cavalry. Cavalry units are such an integral part of the series, giving the series it's name "Mount and Blade". Source

    Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord is coming out soon and not all of us are that good in the multiplayer or had any interest in that part of the game in the first place - most of my multiplayer time was spent fighting bots in Napoleonic Wars. Not everyone has the skills of a half-naked sword master who can easily dodge a lance and decapitate a knight or can act like Khergits.

    Wouldn't it be honorable to spend a moment to help your fellow blood-brother? Help him or her - if there any sword sisters out there - feel complete with the knowledge that you made them whole and strengthen the bonds that every mercenary company and warrior in Calradia deserves. We must assist them to end the chapter that brought us all into this great warband and when that glorious day comes, our banners and standards will be raised as one.

    I suck at a world of ice and fire. Any tips?

    My main problem is that I suck at single combat so the start is really hard and I can't see any progress.

    I've played many hours to vanilla M&B and floris but never got really invested in combat techniques. I am the guy who loses sparring vs peasants when training them :)

    Beta: Just a blank screen at launch followed by nothing - not even a crash yet game needs to be shut down through taskbar...
