At last, we can be free.

For Bannerlord's EA, let's remember what Lord Armagan said on Gamescom 2019.

    Posted: 20 Feb 2020 02:32 AM PST

"Bannerlord's EA won't be like other games. If we had even pushed bit more, we could had announced the game as a finished product, but this time we would have needed to cut many features we would have added to the game or rushed many other things to release the game quickly.

For us to work more productively, EA will let us work on things we want more freely, so we can have more care on the new features we want to add as using our time more productive. In the end, it will also benefit the players aswell. Majorly it will feel like a full game rather than a beta, we will have to give our extra effort to keep the game stabilized."

Those were the things from a Turkish interview in Gamescom 2019. He said many other things, but these were the major important things to me and I combined his sentences here in a summary. No any extra things he didn't say. Even the full games like Ghost Recon Breakpoint, Battlefield V have shown how much a game can be broken when they were supposed to be a full product. This is not an excuse for Bannerlord to be a broken game, but I am pointing that that's even an issue for AAA titles. I'll be optimistic and have faith in TaleWorlds and I do believe they are trying their best to bring a beautiful game to us.

It'll also let modders to work on the game a lot earlier and we may have the big, long waited mods already almost there when Bannerlord is being released. I am sure they will delay the game bit, but if I am not mistaken Armagan once said they want to keep the game in EA for a year.

Also for those wondering why it took so long? Even a big company like Bethesda still couldn't come up with a new engine for their major titles like Elder Scrolls or Fallout games. It took more than a damn decade for Infinity Ward to upgrade their engine properly and for an indie dev like TaleWorlds? Ofc it took some time..

    A thought on Bannerlord Graphics

    Posted: 20 Feb 2020 03:57 AM PST

I have been seeing a lot of posts and comments on either here or other subreddits about how the graphics look massively dated and old.

I honestly think the graphics look good and I don't understand how they look out-dated? The type of game this is you cannot expect realistic looking graphics, especially with the unit sizes.

The beta looks nice and im honestly think it looks like a good game.

Whats everyone elses opinion on the graphics?

What features will be unavailable in early access?

    Posted: 20 Feb 2020 03:08 AM PST

Do we know what features that were announced in devblogs would be unavailable in the early access release? i know sword smithing is one of them.

Like how much of the game would be available to play, are we still able to have children?

The last week before bannerlord should be warband week, a week where we celebrate the greatest game of the past decade with giant events across the best mods. It could be legendary

Is anyone oddly sad about the impending release of Bannerlord?

    Posted: 19 Feb 2020 07:28 PM PST

Obviously I am excited, but I feel like Warband will become obsolete. This is a game that I have sunk almost 2000 hours of my life into, and when Bannerlord is released, almost nobody else will experience it. I've been with the Mount and Blade series since the very beginning, and the release of Warband didn't feel nearly as big. Hell, I still remember the 'River Pirates' from the early betas. With this almost entirely new game, all of the legacy of the first games seems almost lost, even though Bannerlord is still very much going to be a Mound and Blade game.
