    The most ironic thing about Bannerlord being set to take place 200 years before Warband is knowing that the beautiful United Calradian Empire you're going to build when the game comes out will have completely collapsed into pieces quickly after your death, not even managing to stay around for very long at all. Interesting to think about how it would have happened, rebellion, upstart kings, bad heir in your dynasty causing an eventual collapse?

    Discussion: How do you think time will be dealt with in Bannerlord?

    So they are adding children and dynasties to bannerlord. But unless they make days pass like three times as fast as they currently do, it'd take hundreds of hours for children to grow up. So obviously that will be circumvented somehow, but how? I think they will employ a time skip that allows you to radically speed up the game once you have children, similar to what was seen in the time lapse of seasons in Calradia. What do you guys think will be done? I'd go into more depth but I'm writing on a mobile device and it is a pain in the ass.

    How to incerase income (warband)

    Pendor: Is it even worth it to develop knightly orders?

    I've played through Pendor a few times, usually going with the Immortals, sometimes giving a go at one or two other knight orders, and once developing my own. Is it worth it? In my current game, I have gone with the Eventide bastards because black is bad-ass. I've improved them twice already and can't afford the 160k to improve them again (I'm barely holding on with my weekly expenses).

    In this game, and others, I can't help but note that these knights don't fare in battle any better than my other top shelf troops. I buy noblemen, take the effort to train them up, turn them into knights, then watch them go down in battle as easily as my other troops.

    I have no trouble finding good troops. Over the course of the campaign, they evolve into great troops without any effort on my part. Am I wasting time futzing around with knightly orders when I can just collect and employ troops I rescue from the baddies?

    Perisno dwarf troops

    How good are the dwarf shield infantry? On paper they have better hp than valahir, better proficiency than sut, and better skills and equipment than both, but how do they perform in battle? Are they actually the best or do they just swing at people's feet a bit then get bonked in the head and die because they have short models?

    Also, what's the deal with dwarf hired mercs? I only use the cavalry archers so I don't know if it's different for other types, but apparently they have significantly higher quality thresholds than the other races, especially for bows. And for some reason dwarf males are the only ones who get access to the top armors like the paladin armor, etc. even though they're for human models.

    Need a character/playthrough build for vanilla

    I want to do a 4th playthrough on console vanilla warband and I cant think of anything interesting. I've done a Nord, Rhodok and free (working for myself and hiring all units), I'm not interested in a merchant campaign. Anyone have any ideas?

    I've upgraded my pc as of recent and am wondering if these will be fine for bannerlord on lowest settings with 100 ai, but also getting 50-60fps.

    Gpu: gtx 1650

    Cpu: i7 3770k

    Ram: 16gb

    Mem: SSD 2tb

    Seem all gud for what I want?

    Possible to walk between settlements?

    Hello,

    I've recently started playing this, about an hour in to it at the moment and I've got a question.

    Is it possible to simply walk, like in the main game (3rd/1st person) between the settlements, or is the only way to travel between them to go to the world map and click on one?

    I took the 3 closest castles to the noldor territory on my own, then went to the king to ask to be released from my oath, but theres no option to rebel?? I took it on my own, but I cant be released from my oath and still keep it?

    [PoP] How do I start out in Pendor?

    A lot of people have suggested this mod to me and I tried doing what I usually do, which is recruit peasants and fight bandits. But I don't have enough money to recruit more than 5-6 and the bandits were mounted and destroyed my peasant army. No idea what to do tbh

    Also should I pick the letter option on character creation? It sounds like that gives you a claim over Pendor. Does that change gameplay at all and if it does is it for better or worse? Does it make you a noble as I usually like RPing as some rando commoner who came from nothing but got to the top

    Mount and blade Viking conquest

    Ok so I used to play Viking conquest alot but I don't have my computer anymore, and I remember really enjoying all of the shield art and standard designs. But I can't find them online anywhere. I was wondering if someone could take some screenshots for me and link them in this thread?

    Bonus points if you can find the Anglo Saxon ouroborus shield design that I've been looking for desperately but can't find anywhere...

    As the title suggests, I'm just wondering if it is coming to consoles? I fell in love with Warband a few years back when it was released on the Xbox and would love to play bannerlord on the Xbox as well. Thanks!
