    DRAGONS IN BANNERLORD. Just a simple Idle animation, but it's using the Dragon skeleton and a custom animation. So big progress.

    How to avoid paying huge tributes?

    Hi, I'm in my first bannerlord campaign and I have just managed to build a small kingdom with about 4 cities and a couple of castles, but I can't make any money at all because every other faction started declaring war in me, so I have to pay a huge amount in tributes not to get attacked by literally everybody. I was wondering if anybody has any tips to avoid this, or how to escape it?

    Can I take everything slow and at my own pace in Bannerlord?

    I want to go in completely blind and take my time exploring everything, since I haven't played a Mount and Blade game for a long time and I just want to chill and slowly grow.

    Do I have to worry about my character dying of old age? Or things like an enemy faction taking over the world and me not being able to do anything about it because I'm too weak?

    Is it worth supporting an opposing claimant to the throne? What exactly does this entail? I'm considering siding with Leyawin Far-Seeker and rebelling against Ragnar because he won't let me keep any of the numerous castles or cities I've been essential to capturing for the Nords lol.

    Companions and family members including spouse who were in my party end up in random locations every time I load a save. Playing with no mods at all, not on beta either. This is a fresh game from latest patch started a couple weeks ago.

    Did devs remove it from the skill tree? I can't find it. It was one of the most interesting perks in the game IMO.

    Is it just me or is it a bit harder than warband? I'm not complaining! I love the skills that are involved like Rogue and what not. I'm beyond excited to continue my journey with this game!!!!

    I sniped a castle, but i have no kingdom, what now?

    My clan is rank 3 and i'm independant.

    The Aserai conquered a castle from the empire who is itself getting wrecked by Battanians. The Castle was poorly defended so i attacked a nearby caravan to become at war with them and then i successfully managed to capture it.

    Of course the Aserai came with a 1000 men to my 120, in order to destroy me, but to my great surprise they accepted peace against cash.

    Now i can keep the castle but it seems no one will be able to declare war on me because i dont belong to any faction. Am i correct?

    So what are my options? Can i just keep sniping towns and castle from weak enemies without ever creating a kingdom? What happens if i become a mercenary or a vassal? Will the castle become tied to the faction?

    Long winded question for warband..

    So I was given a quest from king graveth to capture a khergit lord, but I happened upon the khan himself and took him prisoner out of sheer luck, but before I could find out how much he'd random for (if they random kings) the war ended and he just evaporated from my prisoner list. I have 2 questions, how much money would I get for ransoming the khan if it's possible, and two, the quest graveth gave me was to capture a lord, would it work to be like "hey I did you one better, here's the khan himself" or would it just be like basic quest complete, or would it not be possible to use him as he's a king and not a lord?
