Posted: 30 Nov 2019 09:18 PM PST Renaud King Renaud of the Kingdom of Swadia had been born into war. He was there at the fall of Uxkhal. He bore witness to the late Delinard's final stand. Loyally he served King Harlaus until his abdication. Now the greatest army Calradia had ever seen marched against him. King Renaud's followers were young. They were the brave and bold that had come to die for their country. The veterans of the war had long since passed and those that now carried the torch were ignorant of their own history. Still King Renaud had hope. News had reached him in the south that the new King of the Rhodoks had resisted the alliance of Sand and Snow. And in the west the Khanate stirred eager to install a new Khan to lead them into glorious victory. From the ashes of defeat and desolation hope stirred. King Renaud stood before his force of Swadian patriots. He would not falter. Together they would march. Together they would avenge the fallen. Sault Dhirim had not been enough. Uxkhal had not been enough. Veluca had not been enough. The King of the vaegirs would not rest until all traces of Vlandia had been stricken from his land. By what right did the inferior rise up to challenge the great? By what right did faux kings seek to challenge his rule. The mere existence of this Vlandian United Front was a stain upon the noble history of Calradia. There would be no great victory to be had here. This was not to be a campaign of glory. This was to be a task for an exterminator seeking to slaughter a pest. There would be no songs of Vlandians noble defeat. Only a cryptic warning to those that would oppose the new empire. King Sault stood before his army. He would not falter. Together they would marcher. Together they would be conquerors. In Meta TermsThis upcoming saturday the armies of the kingdoms of Swadia and Vaegirs will clash. The event shall begin with a best of 7 field followed by a best of 3 siege. If Swadia wins both events they stand to regain Uxkhal. If the Vaegirs stand victorious they shall gain Suno. Calradic Campaign Starter Guide Becoming Involved in the Calradic CampaignThe Calradic Campaign team is always looking for new additions, whether it be scene makers, technical wizards, writers, or anything else of use. Particularly, we are always looking for mapping talent. Don't be constrained by our regular format either, get creative - an unorthodox battle map, a new dueling map, a really innovative use of an underused game mode, anything! If you'd like to contribute your area of expertise, be sure to join our Discord to connect with the members of our team. Many of us earned our positions by bringing something new to the Campaign. We hope you'll join us in continuing one of the top community events in Warband! Donating to the Calradic CampaignThe Calradic Campaign server is our own, and we run it ourselves on a donation basis as we have for years. We now have a Patreon that you can put in a monthly or one time amount to contribute. There are multiple reward tiers with more coming, and with a larger pool of money we can expand our community events (like Mod Night!) as well as preparing for the expected high server costs of Bannerlord. Masterwork longbow from group of sea raiders+question Posted: 01 Dec 2019 07:39 AM PST So I've been manhunting in a new run, and as the title suggests out of nowhere a group of thirtysomething sea raiders dropped a masterwork longbow, much to my suprise. So my question is: Is there a resource online I can use to determine how common such drops are and improve my chances of getting them? (I couldn't find anything on the wiki). Thanks in advance [link] [comments]

Which mods are you expecting the most on bannerlords release? Posted: 01 Dec 2019 03:17 AM PST Heyho, I'm just curious because perhaps you have ideas for mods I didn't think about. Greetings [link] [comments]
Posted: 01 Dec 2019 02:50 AM PST I owned Dhirim, and that was it. I had two lords who hate me (why does that happen? You chose to join me because no one else wanted you, you little turd. Stop hating being here). One of my lords was raiding a village, and I clicked on him to talk to him. Obviously, he didn't like me, I just happened to have no bad feelings with this village as well. You know how when a battle is a possibility, it'll pop up with any nearby parties who might join a side? We'll, when I talked to him, even with no chance of a battle with one of my lords, it popped up with 'villages joined the battle on your side'. Whelp. The enemy loves me more than my lords. P.S. can someone also tell me how to post a photo, because I've got an interesting one. [link] [comments]
Starting a kingdom without ever being a vassal... Posted: 01 Dec 2019 05:34 AM PST I've gathered an elite force and established enterprises in every city. I feel militarily ready for conquest, but want to make sure I do it right. I intend to go straight for an enemy town (probably Khergits because they're weak and bad at sieges). How do I get into a conflict with them without losing significant honor? Also, I don't even have a banner. Will I get a banner and a kingdom all at once? How about a wife? Will I be able to court and marry once I'm an independent king? The only other time I've been married, I was a Swadian lord while I courted the lucky lady. Also, I've been so busy running around winning tourneys and gathering my warband that I haven't cultivated much in terms of relations with other lords. How important is this? Finally, I restarted my only previous independent kingdom run because all of my vassals were ingrates and jerks. How do I determine the quality of a lord when he arrives in my kingdom asking to serve me? I'd rather not bring a bunch of dbags on board like I did last time. It seems only dbags are inclined to arrive at my court when I initially go independent. [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Nov 2019 05:11 PM PST I'm preparing to start my kingdom since I have a income and some right to rule and was wondering if the swadians would just let me chill or make a alliance with me. I have very high relations with the kingdom and some of the lords and was wondering if I made my empire if I could make them my ally? This is the the floris evolved mod by the way. The Histories of the Vaegir Peoples By Prince Tarchias (CC lore) Posted: 30 Nov 2019 08:13 PM PST With the rapid expansion of power by the epochal leaders Yarograd and Saultnami, a new hegemon has arrived in calradia not seen since the likes of the old Calradic Empire. The reasons for its expansion in such a diverse land will be covered later in my Chronicles of this triumphant peoples. The focus of this work is of its organization of land, labor, and goods, using a mix of old and new systems which has brought great wealth into the tundra. The first of which is to be covered is its lands, for which its vast makeup covers almost every biome in calradia. From its beginning the ancient vaegiroving clan was from that of the snowy tundra, living in an inhospitable land lacking in that of arable farmland. These origins bred a rugged people born into clawing an existence from other means, but by that of wares and war. The vaegir heartlands contain a wealth of natural resources: from Iron, Furs, and metals it gave rise to an economy much different that of the western kingdoms of calradia. Towns formed along vast ore deposits as well as walled castles to protect these wares as they moved across the lands. This would serve to give a hybridized nobility which served the tsardom-a standard nobility with lands and fiefs as well as that of a dominant merchant class, using their profits to create a core of druzhina to serve them and their interests. As these warlike men conquered new lands, they encountered places much different than their old tundra, much of which would be that of Swadian, Rhodok, and Nordic lands. These new lands were initially a challenge for the new occupiers of these strange lands yet with the administrative abilities of yaro sault and the minister of the interior Mephistopheles, many new systems were put into action. Corvee labor was established in varying degrees throughout, with the tundra lands having more months while the rich plains of eastern swadia using less. Through these general works were carried out with military and civilian interests kept in mind. These new roads, canals, and defenses would be established to improve the output and wellbeing of local communities as well as bolstering the rapidly expanding empire. Next was the creation of military governates. These Imperial lords held power through the Tsar and held their positions not through hereditary rule but that of lifetime appointments, although many lords still held their own lands in the core of the empire. They would serve to control public order as well as defend the lands from threats internally and externally. They would as well see revenues and tariffs would make it to the capital. In return, they would collect a portion of these revenues as well as take any loot they gained from their own conquests. Through this imperial style of rule, power was centralized in the hands of the Tsar and empowered the nobility and their families. The final major reform would be a simple yet powerful tool that aided the vinegar interests is that of the state industry. These industries would serve to provide vital resources for war as well as the civilian sector, giving the state apparatus easy access to that of weapons and armor, keeping prices low and their goods stable, not relying on the whims of other lands for their things vital to their conquests. These things along with many additional reforms would empower the military and economic growth within the empire, allowing it to consolidate its gains and keep pace with its mighty armies.
