    An update from TW on the priorities of the Singleplayer & Engine dev teams.

    Warriors of Calradia,

    Today we will be sharing an update for some of our current singleplayer and engine related priorities with you.

    As a general note, stability and performance will continue to be a top priority for us. Beyond that, you will find some of our other goals listed below. Please note that this includes both broad and specific, as well as, shorter and longer term priorities.

    Campaign

    Kingdom & Politics

    Rebellions - This will take some time but we are working on them.

    Granting/Relinquishing Fiefs

    Improvements to Kingdom Decisions

    Character System

    We will continue to introduce missing or reworked perks for the remaining skills. Naturally, we will also fix bugged perks.

    A child education feature that will allow players to shape their clan's offspring before they come of age.

    An option to disable birth, death and aging.

    You know, like on the MnB wiki where you have all the weapons, armour, horses, etc. neatly arranged in a list with attack points, defence points, etc.?

    While I understand the game is still very much WIP, outside of pre-early access posts lightly discussing it ive seen no real mention of any plans for implementing more of the criminal enterprise systems. This is a bit disheartening for me as this was one of the main aspects of the game i was looking forward to.

    Is Taleworlds simply focusing on polished rather then content at the moment? How would you like to see such a system work? Should there be incentives for hiring thugs/capturing bandits and not turning them into normal troops?

    Just want to here general thoughts and discussion on this I guess.

    Long term player here, I recently bought this game on Steam and wondering if it has VAC?

    I have hundreds of hours on mount and blade but only bought it on steam this year, I haven't touched it yet though because i can't figure out if the game is VAC enabled or not.

    To explain why i want to know since people always ask and call me paranoid: To put it simply i avoid anything with vac like it's the black plague, to ensure i will never get banned. Over the years i have seen countless false positives, unfair triggers and mob mentality ranging from people telling those with a vac ban to kill themselves to relentless bullying and prosecution. Most steam fanboys can't even admit vac makes mistakes (Once a cheater always a cheater). Also it ruins your profile forever. You might think i'm crazy, but once you got the red mark of doom you're fucked and will be treated like scum everywhere on steam regardless of the circunstances - so i just prefer staying away alltogether.

    Now the thing is, games that are VAC enabled will still be a minefield for modding even offline.

    Examples:

    - Dying light enabled vac without alerting anyone which caused a ton of bans for downloading workshop mods and using them in singleplayer.

    - 100% orange juice, f2p game where people got vacced for using a trainer offline.

    So i did a lot of research and according to some people Mount and Blade has a few VAC servers but they aren't used much, however there's no information whatsoever about it on the store page. If this game is protected, then it would imply cheating offline through third party tools is still dangerous.

    I don't plan on using trainers/cheats even offline however i work in IT and use a lot of software on my PC that could potentially trigger VAC, and could go undetected. Does anyone have any information on the subject?

    How to increase the chance of capturing lords?

    I got a quest from King Ragnar to capture a lord from another faction honestly I captured one and I gave it to him but it took me a lot of time I defeated more than 10 armies to capture only 1 lord, I've read about all of the attributes and I don't know which one is helpful for capturing lords. I searched for this and someone was mentioning that the prisoner management skill could help but I want to make sure before spending a lot of points on that useless skill ...

    Is there an actual feasible way to support >1000 battle sizes with modding?

    Taleworlds has said that they designed Bannerlord to be moddable in virtually every aspect. I am wondering if this also means we can up the Battle Size scale to 1500, possibly 2000 for systems that can support it.

    Yes the maximum possible size is 2048 with no cavalry, so it currently does not technically support more than 1023 men.

    Any modders been successful in "cracking the code"?

    For someone who binged 100 hours during release week into helping Sturgia dominate the entire map, then quit because updates were too frequent, how different would a new playthrough be now?

    I wound up helping Sturgia dominate the entire map during the launch week of the game, but the patches were coming so frequently that so many aspects were changing. I know a ton of the perks also literally didn't do anything. How would you say the game compares today to 6 months ago when I really enjoyed my binge.

    Bannerlord 2 - How do I marry off my family to increase my clan?

    I have tried to speak with the Clan leaders, they say great, your brother would be great for my daughter! You will need to speak with them, they look like they aren't active parties, so they don't populate anywhere. Any Tips?
