Q1: What towns are connected, sends caravans to Shariz?

Q2: What are the best units for garrison and for patrols (and in what size)?

Q3: I have set very low taxes. Good idea or bad?

How to get rid of the weird text in Medieval Conquests?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 08:55 AM PST

I'm getting an issue with Medieval Conquests where the text is just a weird patter of lines. I knew how to fix it before and found the answer through a Reddit post, but the post is gone now and I had to delete Medieval Conquests a while ago to fix a storage issue on my computer.

Any of you know which files I need to delete? Is it the font.dds file or something else?

Jeremus has blessed us with another year.

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 01:38 PM PST

Gather, gather! Please do gather round me!

We are here yet again, perhaps knocked unconscious an uncountable number of times yet we return only due to Jeremus.

The year has just started and as such we look forward to Jeremus' sacrifices as well as to his revivals.

It has been said that Bannerlord is coming and, aye great this is. Yet let us not forget the real benefit of this year: another year to celebrate Jeremus the wise, Jeremus the unerring!

Aye, all those who are willing Jeremus has given me a proposition to pass to you. When bannerlord comes around, we must make identical Jeremi and rule in his honor.

We must conquer Bannerlord under the banner of Jeremi! For, it is only then that we may consider Bannerlord to be a blesséd game. We must look for any and all clues of the ancestors of Jeremus and bring them along, putting them into positions of power.

    A new dawn is rising!

    It's victory is at hand!

Questions for Clash of Kings Warband Campaign

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 06:26 AM PST

Really 3, first, what does joining a Lords retinue do? Do you just hang around in their army and wait for battles?

Second, I have found raiding septs to be insanely lucrative. If i go join with Robb Stark, is there any drawback to constantly looting septs?

Third, is there any way to tell if Septs and Farms are in one kingdom v. another? I was going to join up with stannis until I accidentally went for a sept I didnt realize was dragonstones.

Bonus question: does the campaign have scripted events like Renlys murder via shadowbaby? Better yet is there a quest where i can spirit away Mel so she has a demon baby and I can play the Davos part?

    Thanks!

Advice on holding your first castle?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 06:16 PM PST

I'm able to carry an 80 man army and I've worked hard to get that to be mostly upgraded troops. I don't want to put them all into the garrison and have a bunch of dirty kerghits team up to take everything.

I havent played this remarkable game in 6 months. But after a few days of scrolling through this page i have decided to take up arms against my king, get my sword soaked in peasant blood, my shield chipped and my warbow splintered.

Take care my fellow knights and always remember...

    Good Merchant Pacifist Start

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 07:55 PM PST

Today my run wen't pretty well in Diplomacy after creating a character Merchant,Assistant,Peddler,Lust and starting in Veigirs. Got path-finding up to 4 immediately, sold all my goods in Reyvadin and went on to Curaw with 0 troops, waited 21 days and bought tons of cheap iron (The city goods replenish every 7 days), suffered 0 wages since I have no soldiers, did one short trade route through Rivacheg, Wercheg and back to Curaw for more iron. Repeated this step a few more times until I had 3500 gold for an ironworks in Curaw. Safest start I ever had, requires lots of patience in waiting in towns for the best prices to come by. But with the ironworks ready I headed into Swadian territory, with only Jeremus and Deshavi in my party. Recruited a bunch of recruits and went to train them on Forest bandits (It's not easy you have to outnumber them 2 to 1 or even 3 to 1 sometimes. Trained up those soldiers until my wages were about the same as my profits from Curaw then started CTRL + Space - ing through the map since all the bandits were running away from me (I'm at around day 90 and I'm level 6). Did a few full circle trade routes until I had 10k gold to buy a dyeworks in Rivacheg. After that life gets pretty easy because now I can afford Swadian Knights so I can start doing quests for towns that involve hunting down bandits which gives tons of EXP like 2000 or smth. Things are looking pretty well. I have my eyes set on the Butterlord as I plan to take over his kingdom and wash my face with the butter.

[Warband] Any way to stop lords just leaving in the middle of a siege?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 06:12 PM PST

Any time I have to build siege equipment for more than 8 hours nearly all of my following lords will just leave. Is there any way to mitigate this?

    Best armor aesthetically?

    Posted: 01 Jan 2020 01:16 PM PST

I know that plate is the best in terms of defense, but I want to know what you all think is the best looking armor. I for one really like the lamellar armor (not vests) and the cuir bouilli.

    Specs to play mods?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:31 AM PST

I've been playing Mount and Blade on my PlayStation and am really keen to play some mods. In particular the GOT versions. I'm going to invest in a computer tower to play these games. I was hoping someone out there would be able to help me figure out what specs I'd need to run the game

    TIA
